Position Summary The Global Head of Supply Chain is responsible for developing and executing the company's global supply chain strategy to ensure operational excellence, cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and customer satisfaction. This role will oversee end-to-end supply chain functions including procurement, demand planning, production planning, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, supplier development, and supply chain transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will drive supply chain resilience, digitalization, and continuous improvement while leading a geographically distributed team across multiple regions. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Strategy Develop and execute global supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives. Build a resilient and agile supply chain network to support growth and market expansion. Lead long-term supply chain planning and risk mitigation initiatives. Drive supply chain optimization and network redesign projects. Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Establish global sourcing strategies and category management frameworks. Lead supplier selection, qualification, and supplier development programs. Drive annual cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives. Manage key supplier relationships and executive-level negotiations. Ensure supply continuity of critical materials and components. Planning & Inventory Management Oversee S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process globally. Improve demand forecasting accuracy and planning effectiveness. Optimize inventory levels while maintaining service levels. Balance customer demand with production and supply capabilities. Logistics & Distribution Manage global transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations. Optimize global logistics cost and network efficiency. Monitor import/export compliance and international trade regulations. Drive freight optimization and lead-time reduction initiatives. Supply Chain Transformation Lead digital supply chain initiatives and process automation projects. Implement best practices in planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Support ERP and supply chain systems implementation (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, etc.). Develop data-driven decision-making capabilities across the supply chain organization. Risk Management Develop supply chain risk assessment frameworks. Build business continuity plans and crisis response strategies. Manage supplier concentration risk and geopolitical risks. Ensure compliance with ESG and sustainability requirements. Leadership & Organization Development Lead and develop global procurement, planning, logistics, and warehouse teams. Build a high-performance supply chain organization. Establish KPIs and performance management systems. Coach and develop future leaders.
