The role will serve as a strategic business partner to the China General Manager and APAC leadership team, ensuring strong financial governance while supporting rapid business expansion in China.   Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Lead the full set of accounting activities for China entity Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing process Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with PRC GAAP Deliver management reporting packages to APAC headquarters under IFRS/Group reporting standards Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial records 2. Tax & Compliance Manage all PRC tax compliance matters including: VAT Corporate Income Tax Individual Income Tax Withholding Tax Coordinate annual audits and statutory filings Maintain relationships with tax authorities, auditors and external advisors Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax and regulatory requirements 3. Treasury & Cash Flow Management Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital Oversee banking relationships Monitor payment processes and internal controls Support capital injection, intercompany funding and foreign exchange matters 4. Budgeting & FP&A Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting Conduct financial analysis on: Club expansion New store investment Membership profitability Pricing strategy Sales productivity Provide decision support to China leadership team 5. Business Partnering Partner closely with: China GM Operations team Sales & Membership team Marketing team Evaluate business performance and identify growth opportunities Develop business cases for new club openings and expansion initiatives Monitor key KPIs including: Membership revenue Retention rate Cost per acquisition Club profitability 6.
