1. Project Cost Management Lead the full-cycle cost control for overseas steel structure engineering projects, including budgeting, cost estimation, cost tracking, and final settlement. Prepare and review project BOQ, cost breakdown, and cost control plans based on drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Monitor project cost performance against budget; identify variances and propose corrective actions. Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost competitiveness. 2. Tendering & Bidding Support Participate in overseas project tendering, including cost estimation, pricing strategy, and risk assessment. Prepare tender documents, cost proposals, and commercial terms in collaboration with engineering and procurement teams. Conduct market research on local labor, materials, logistics, and subcontracting costs in target countries. 3. Contract & Commercial Management Review and interpret engineering contracts, technical specifications, and commercial clauses. Support contract negotiation with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Manage change orders, claims, and variations to ensure commercial protection of the company. 4. Procurement Cost Control Work closely with procurement teams to evaluate steel, materials, equipment, and logistics costs. Assess overseas supply chain risks and optimize procurement strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiency. 5. Project Financial Reporting Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete analysis. Provide cost insights and recommendations to project leadership and HQ management. Support project audits and final account settlement. 6. Cross-functional Collaboration Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, finance, and overseas site teams to ensure accurate cost control. Provide cost-related guidance to project managers and site teams.
