Job Summary The Planning Manager (P6–P7) is responsible for leading end‑to‑end planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, and inventory optimization. This role ensures alignment across commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to support business growth, improve forecast accuracy, and maintain healthy inventory levels. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, experienced in complex planning environments, and capable of driving cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of demand and supply plans across product categories and regions. Drive S&OP/IBP processes, ensuring alignment between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance. Analyze forecast performance, identify gaps, and implement improvement initiatives. Manage capacity planning and ensure supply readiness to support business growth and new product launches. Optimize inventory levels by balancing service levels, working capital, and supply constraints. Monitor key planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, fill rate, inventory turns, service level) and drive performance improvements. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure end‑to‑end planning alignment. Lead planning system enhancements and digitalization initiatives (e.g., APS, ERP, forecasting tools). Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership through regular planning reports and business reviews. Mentor and develop junior planners, fostering best‑practice adoption and capability building. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 6–10+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or integrated planning roles. Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes and planning methodologies. Proficiency in planning systems and tools (e.g., SAP APO/IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, Kinaxis). Excellent analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Proven ability to lead planning processes in fast‑paced, complex environments. Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Experience in S&OP/IBP implementation is a strong plus. Leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop a planning team.
