Quality & Food Safety Systems:
Own, manage, and audit the plant’s Food Safety Plan (HACCP/HARPC), SQF/BRC/FSSC 22000 certification, and other relevant Quality schemes.
Maintain and enforce all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
Lead all internal, external, and third-party audits (customer, regulatory, certification bodies). Serve as the primary point of contact.
Manage the plant’s allergen control program, supplier approval program, and environmental monitoring program (EMP).
Oversee the plant’s document control system for all quality and food safety records.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Supervisors and QC Technicians personnel.
Schedule and assign daily responsibilities for QA/QC staff, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and finished product testing.
Foster a culture of quality and food safety ownership across all plant departments.
Product & Process Quality:
Establish and enforce product specifications for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished seasoning blends.
Oversee the analytical and sensory evaluation of products (e.g., moisture, ash, color, particle size, flavor profile, microbial testing).
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for customer complaints, non-conformances, and internal deviations.
Manage the hold and release program for raw materials and finished goods. Authorize final product release.
Regulatory & Customer Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with all local and international regulations relevant to food and seasoning manufacturing.
Review and validate customer specifications and ensure plant processes are aligned to meet them consistently.
Prepare and present quality performance data and KPI reports to plant and corporate management.
Continuous Improvement:
Utilize data from quality metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality, yield, and efficiency.
Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Maintenance on new product launches, process changes, and equipment validations.

Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
At least 3 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
Direct, hands-on experience in a dry blending or powder processing environment is a must.
Knowledge of seasoning applications, flavor profiles, and ingredient functionality would be preferred.
In-depth knowledge of ISO/HACCP/GMPs, and GFSI audit schemes (SQF, BRC, or FSSC 22000).
Experience with allergen management and testing, microbial testing, and foreign material control systems (e.g., metal detectors, x-ray, sieves).
Proven experience leading successful external audits and regulatory inspections.
Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical process control (SPC) and quality data analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills using methodologies like 5-Whys, Fishbone diagrams, etc.
Good command of Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT.
Good in English communication (written) will be preferred
