This is a diverse role where in-depth knowledge of generator construction projects, constructability, utility requirements, National Electricity Rules familiarity and commissioning experience is expected. The role will also take strong responsibility on new product localization. A rock-solid work ethic, strong team-oriented personality and savvy commercial approach are essential. Tasks may include: • Lead the project deployment and commissioning, coordinate among Tesla engineering teams, EPC, subcontractor and other stakeholders. • Design, coordination, execution, and documentation of test plans & grid connection • Preparation of equipment specifications and tendering • Design optimisation & Sanity check • Site based construction monitoring, auditing, and quality inspections • Fault-finding, root cause reporting, analysis of SCADA data, protection relay events • Balance of plant electrical subcontractor design review • Incorporation of lessons learnt into continuous improvement of specifications, scoping documents, processes, test report templates, automation • Support global and APAC team on next generation product design and localization.   Requirements • Extreme attention to detail • Relevant experience as an Electrical/Project Engineer on renewable construction projects • Strong commercial focus • Solid knowledge and background on medium voltage transformer application and design. • Operational experience with power generation system. • Control systems knowledge and an understanding of power systems • Knowledge of CN grid connection process • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Ability to read electrical drawings • Knowledge of BESS relevant GB standards • Familiarity with electrical studies for utility applications • Knowledge of communication networking • Experience with PLCs and protection relays • Extracurricular engineering activities • Prior experience as a contractor or working for a contractor is highly preferred. • Good command of English skill, both spoken and writing.
