China Operation & Project Lead

Job Description: China Operation & Project Lead Industry: Electronics Location: China (Home‑based, no local office). Training available in Shanghai, Shenzhen or Guangzhou Employment Type: Permanent role with 6‑month probation (Level 5 / Level 6) Reporting To: US‑based Global Operations Lead Compensation Structure: 12‑month base salary plus company equity (RSU). Statutory social insurance & housing fund deducted from gross pay. Individual contributor role, no direct reports. Role Overview This role is a peer to an existing team member, responsible for end‑to‑end operations for multiple Chinese suppliers. You will monitor supplier performance, deliver cross‑site improvement projects and coordinate cross‑functionally to safeguard global manufacturing against disruption. Key Responsibilities 1. Oversee daily performance of China suppliers, track output and ensure on‑time delivery. 2. Drive cross‑site projects e.g. injection‑molding tool transfer from China to Thailand; build monitoring plans to avoid manufacturing disruption and align all stakeholders. 3. Partner with manufacturing engineering, supplier quality and other internal teams to keep projects on track. 4. Develop solid supplier relationships, run on‑site discussions and push project execution. 5. Take end‑to‑end ownership of project planning, communication, risk identification and delivery. Required Competencies 1. Strong stakeholder and relationship‑management skills for multi‑site global collaboration. 2. Proven planning, organisation and execution for cross‑border projects. 3. Critical thinking, ownership and accountability are non‑negotiable. 4. Self‑driven mindset aligned with company mission, beyond pure day‑to‑day job delivery. 5. Proficient English for regular communication with US‑based direct manager and global teams. Preferred Qualifications ‑ Electronics industry background in operations or engineering ‑ Hands‑on supplier development / supplier management experience ‑ Experience in operational / commercial‑excellence initiatives ‑ Prior cross‑border manufacturing transfer project experience
