Department: Finance – China BEST Controlling Team Reports To: Head of Cost Management, China BEST Controlling Job Summary: L'Oréal is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Financial Controller to join our China BEST Controlling team, specializing in Cost Management team. This role is crucial for centralizing and standardizing our SG&A cost processes across L'Oréal China, aiming to enhance efficiency, control, and strategic financial decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing specific SG&A cost categories, ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and effective business partnering. Key Responsibilities: As a Financial Controller within the Cost Management stream, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 1. Cost Management & Control: Directly manage and control various cost categories, including Personal Costs, Office/Campus Costs, Activity-Based Operating Costs, Retail Costs, and Other Allocations. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of expenses within these categories, adhering to L'Oréal Group guidelines and local regulations. 2. Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting (PB/B/T) for SG&A. 3. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Provide analytical support for SG&A-related inquiries, offering insights to management for informed decision-making. 4. Communication: as Division Referent and Financial Business Partner to stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and communicate financial implications effectively. 5. Process Standardization & Improvement: Actively participate in the continuous standardization and improvement of SG&A cost controlling processes, identifying areas for efficiency gains and better control. 6. Procurement & Expense Approval Processes. 7. Ad Hoc analysis as requested by management.
