About The Role
• Generate bottom up Should Cost / Best Practice product cost calculations.
• Establish state of the art Cost & Value Engineering methods and processes.
• Support target cost setting process.
• Lead competitor teardown/benchmarks.
• Analyse supplier quotes and cost breakdowns of parts and tooling concepts to support procurement team.
• Generate and drive implementation of (Design-to-Cost) cost reduction ideas.
• Manage internal knowledge domain and reference calculation models.
• Enhance total cost management process and digitalization.
About You
• A degree in Engineering with experiences in process and part optimization (electronics and/or mechanics).
• Project leadership experiences.
• In-depth knowledge and proven track record in Cost Engineering.
In-depth knowledge on manufacturing technologies – understanding of cost structure and margin structure of purchased and in-house manufactured parts.
