Database Administration

• Database Installation and Configuration: Install database software and perform necessary configurations to ensure the database system operates smoothly. • Performance Optimization: Monitor database performance, identify and resolve potential performance issues to ensure efficient database operations. • Backup and Recovery: Develop and execute database backup and recovery strategies to ensure quick recovery in case of data loss or system failure. • Security Management: Manage database security, including user access control, access monitoring, data encryption, etc., to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches. • Database Design and Planning: Participate in database design and planning to ensure the database structure meets application requirements when necessary. • Upgrades and Maintenance: Manage database system version upgrades, apply patches and updates to ensure system stability and security. • Monitoring and Logging: Monitor database activities, and record logs for troubleshooting and security auditing. • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues when the database encounters problems to ensure system stability. • Capacity Planning: Forecast database storage needs, plan, and manage database capacity. • High Availability: Establish and maintain high-availability database cluster mechanisms. • Other Duties as Assigned by Supervisor.

• Fluent oral English. • Over 3 years of experience in database operations and maintenance, with a relevant degree in Computer Science or related fields. • Proficient in mainstream databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and related technologies;expert in SQL; familiar with database backup, recovery, and migration strategies; skilled in applying patches and version upgrades.Gbase is a plus. • Expertise in database performance analysis and testing; in-depth knowledge and practical experience in database optimization and storage performance. • Strong ability to handle database operation failures and security hardening. • Familiarity with daily operations of Linux systems.
