EHS Supervisor

EHS Supervisor（环境、健康与安全主管） Position Summary The EHS Supervisor is responsible for implementing and maintaining the school's Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant learning and working environment for students, faculty, staff, contractors, and visitors. The role supports the development of a proactive safety culture across the campus, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international best practices related to environmental management, occupational health, emergency preparedness, and campus safety. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Management Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the school's EHS management system. Conduct regular campus safety inspections and risk assessments. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Monitor compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and standards. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, and ensure effective follow-up actions are implemented. Campus Safety & Risk Management Coordinate school-wide safety programs covering classrooms, laboratories, sports facilities, dormitories, cafeterias, transportation, and common areas. Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure compliance with campus safety requirements. Conduct routine audits of fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and life safety systems. Maintain risk registers and support campus risk mitigation initiatives. Emergency Preparedness & Response Develop and coordinate emergency response plans and procedures. Organize fire drills, evacuation exercises, lockdown drills, and emergency response training. Serve as a key member of the school's emergency response team. Coordinate with local authorities including fire departments, emergency medical services, and regulatory agencies when required. Environmental Management Promote environmental sustainability initiatives across the campus. Monitor waste management, recycling programs, water conservation, and energy efficiency activities. Support implementation of environmental policies and ESG-related initiatives. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards. Health & Wellbeing Programs Support occupational health initiatives for faculty and staff. Promote health awareness and wellness programs within the school community. Monitor workplace conditions and identify potential health risks. Coordinate health and safety training programs for employees and contractors. Training & Safety Awareness Develop and deliver EHS orientation programs for employees and contractors. Organize regular safety training sessions and awareness campaigns. Promote a positive safety culture among students, staff, and service providers. Maintain up-to-date training records and compliance documentation. Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with applicable local laws, regulations, and school policies. Maintain EHS documentation, permits, inspection records, and incident reports. Support external audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections. Prepare periodic EHS reports and management reviews.
