Basic Information Position Title: Field Application Engineer – Embedded Platform Work Location: Shenzhen, Guangdong (remote role) Position Type: Field Application Engineer, customer‑facing technical role Reporting Line: Local sales team based in Shenzhen   Project Background The company focuses on AI‑powered smart earbuds and wearable audio products with mature audio software and AI solutions, empowering global consumer brands with audio technologies. With the rapid expansion of domestic business, we are looking for a Field Application Engineer to act as the technical hub for the China market. The role connects the company, partners and end‑customers, supports technical integration, debugging, mass‑production delivery of customer projects, and develops business opportunities with domestic audio hardware brands.   Key Responsibilities 1. Provide end‑to‑end technical support for domestic customers and partners throughout product evaluation, solution integration, project development, testing validation and mass‑production phases. 2. Deliver professional technical guidance for customers on embedded firmware, SDK integration, Bluetooth connectivity, audio features and connected‑device interaction modules. 3. Reproduce, debug and document customer‑side technical issues, escalate complex problems internally for resolution, and close all customer technical requests. 4. Work closely with the sales team in customer technical discussions and design‑in activities, and identify potential new business opportunities. 5. Manage customer samples, continuously collect front‑line technical feedback from customers, organize business insights and share with internal product and engineering teams. 6. Review and assist in delivering customer‑facing technical documents, integration guides, specifications, schematics and PCB layout files as required by projects. 7. Travel to customer sites for on‑site technical support when assigned by project schedules.  

Job Requirements 1. Hands‑on working experience in customer‑facing technical roles including Field Application Engineer, Technical Support, Customer Engineering, Solutions Engineer or Embedded Systems Engineer. 2. Solid practical experience in embedded systems and firmware integration. 3. Good knowledge of Bluetooth, BLE, audio products, hearables, wearables or connected consumer smart devices. 4. Strong troubleshooting capability covering issue reproduction, root‑cause analysis, debugging, documentation and escalation management. 5. Efficient communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, capable of explaining sophisticated technical topics in customer‑oriented plain language. 6. Proactive and self‑motivated, able to handle urgent customer issues independently and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks. 7. Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English. Nice‑to‑have Qualifications 1. Prior project experience with chip platforms such as Jieli, Qualcomm, Bluetrum or equivalent platforms is preferred. 2. Proficiency in hardware debugging tools, protocol analyzers and simulation tools is preferred. 3. Previous experience in mobile‑app integration projects is preferred. 4. Background in consumer electronics, audio devices or semiconductor platforms, plus familiarity with Shenzhen hardware supply chain is preferred.
