Leads Business Performance processes for FC China ensuring achievement of goals through key forecasting cycles; Monthly Business Review (MBR), Rolling Forecasts (RF) and annual Budget setting process covering P&L, balance sheet, working capital and cashflow. Preparations of financials, scenarios planning, risks & opportunities, messaging and presentations.
Converts category and customer data to business insights (outside in view, not only finance) then drives actions for business growth, productivity and simplification. Link to external data, including consumer offtake and market share analysis. Understands and challenges results and forms assumptions going forward.
Drives actions to close any gaps to business performance. Deliver high quality information to enable early understanding of performance trends and issues.
Brings visibility and updates management reporting set based on business situation to drive performance and accountability across organisation. Eg. Customer level daily shipment reporting
Contributes to strategic planning and steers business to path towards our annual targets and other ad-hoc business analysis
Coordinates and controls a transparent financial rolling forecast for all departments (incl S&OP-Supply and demand)
Manages Financial reporting and planning systems; Adaptive forecasting system, HFM. Ensure data timeliness and integrity and takes ownership in continuous process/system improvement.
Govern D&S budget including target setting, tracking and supporting the Supply team.
Proactively links with BG Finance in Singapore on Outlook, R&O and drivers that impact profitability. Campaigns with regional / global stakeholders to stay "in touch" and secure the "right" targets through data, engagement and influence
Drives insights and deliver savings targets across different cost pools – Productivity, Cost savings (SG&A, Procurement, D&S) tracking and calculations
Leveraging technology to make insights visible, BI-tooling to drive business performance with IT
Lead financial digitalization project, launch outlook planning tool
Continuously seeks best-in-class internally and externally as benchmarks to reapply, then actively use technology to create analytics, simplify and shorten lead times
Drives ROI mindset and builds capability of multi-functional team on financial acumen
Acts as steward for company and actively engages organisation on internal controls. Linking pin to & execute oversight of FSSC and Internal Control managers
Lead, motivate and develop the financial accounting functions to ensure all activities of the company related to financial accounting and reporting are properly planned, managed and controlled in compliance with local and corporate regulation and proper management of working capital and cash flow.
