Your new career chapter Our client is an undisputed global industry leader with a promising business outlook and dominant market share. To support their rapid expansion, they are seeking a high-caliber General Counsel based in Shanghai to lead legal and compliance affairs across the APAC region. Your new role You will serve as a key business partner and lead legal strategy across the APAC region. Provide high-level guidance on legal strategy, regulatory matters, and day-to-day business operations. Negotiate and draft a broad variety of agreements, ranging from routine commercial contracts to highly complex cross-border transactions. Advise on digital content, marketing promotions, and the protection of a premier global IP portfolio.

Job Requirements

What you need to succeed LL.M/JD from a reputable common law school is preferred. Legal qualification in PRC is required ; dual qualification (US/UK Bar) is a plus. 8+ years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE). Significant experience at a top-tier international BigLaw highly preferred. Proven track record of working experience in US/UK headquartered companies. Native fluency in Mandarin and excellent English (written and verbal).
