Homologation Engineers

Job Title: Homologation Engineer (Expert)   Department: Technology Center/Compliance Department   Report To: Homologation Technical Lead/Technology Manager   Core Positioning:   As a technical expert in homologation, you will exclusively handle high-value projects for senior clients, leading the end-to-end implementation of global regulatory certification. Accurately respond to client needs, resolve complex certification technical issues, and ensure the compliant and efficient advancement of automotive export, KD projects, and new energy vehicle initiatives.   Key Responsibilities:   1. Exclusively interface with senior clients, deeply understand their requirements, and develop customized homologation certification solutions.   2. Lead the full-cycle certification of whole vehicles and core components for markets including EU, US, CN, and ASEAN, covering regulatory interpretation, test coordination, documentation preparation, and certification acquisition.   3. Address high-complexity technical challenges such as cross-regional regulatory conflicts, test failure rectifications, and compliance adaptation of cutting-edge technologies.   4. Participate in compliance reviews during the client’s product R&D phase to mitigate certification risks at the source and improve project progress efficiency.   5. Maintain effective communication with clients, regulatory authorities, and authoritative laboratories to ensure smooth project delivery and stable cooperative relationships.   Qualifications & Requirements:   1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, or related fields; master’s degree is preferred.   2. Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive homologation, with a track record of leading high-complexity certification projects for global top-tier clients.   3. Proficiency in at least 2 core market regulatory systems (e.g., ECE/EC, FMVSS, GB); experience in new energy/intelligent connected vehicles or KD project certification is a plus.   4. Excellent client liaison and communication skills, with the ability to accurately grasp needs, respond efficiently, and work under high-pressure project schedules.   5. Fluent in English (working language), with cross-cultural communication and cross-regional project coordination capabilities; results-oriented and highly responsible.
