IT Application Support

• Oversee the daily operations of the YBT reporting system, ensuring timely identification, tracking, and resolution of issues in partnership with external vendors. • Serve as the primary liaison among business users, IT teams, and regulatory departments, coordinating all system submission activities and related tasks. • Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, providing prompt troubleshooting and effective solutions. • Continuously monitor application performance, diagnose software issues, and maintain overall system stability. • Manage the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of test environments, including performance tuning and environment optimization. • Coordinate the rollout of new releases, patches, and system enhancements, ensuring smooth and controlled implementation. • Work closely with vendors to resolve technical incidents and execute required updates or fixes. • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of end to end reporting workflows and ensure all processes comply with information security and regulatory standards. • Own and maintain all application related contracts, documentation, and technical records. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years’ experience supporting local regulatory reporting systems within a banking environment. • Proven experience interacting directly with regulatory bodies such as CFETS, NFRA, PBOC, SAFE, etc. • Highly self driven, with the ability to communicate progress clearly and escalate blockers when necessary. • Strong understanding of banking policies, risk controls, security requirements, and operational constraints. • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. • Advanced hands on skills in installing, configuring, and administering SUSE, RedHat, Tomcat, IBM MQ, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL. • Familiarity with GBase is a strong advantage. • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. • Coding experience is beneficial. • Exposure to DevOps practices is a plus.
