About the role
• Generate bottom up Should Cost / Best Practice product cost calculations.
• Support target cost setting process.
• Analyse supplier quotes and cost breakdowns of parts and tooling concepts to support procurement team with fact-based negotiations.
• Build internal knowledge domain and reference calculation models.
• Execute competitor teardowns.
• Generate (Design-to-Cost) cost reduction ideas.
• Enhance total cost management process and digitalization.
职位要求
About you
• A degree in Engineering with experiences in process and part optimization (electronics and/or mechanics).
• In-depth knowledge and proven track record in Cost Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge on manufacturing technologies – understanding of cost structure and margin structure of purchased and in-house manufactured parts.
