M&A Head

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven M&A professional to lead the identification, evaluation, execution, and integration of investment and acquisition opportunities across the Energy, Advanced Manufacturing, and Industrial sectors. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing investment strategies, sourcing and assessing acquisition targets, leading due diligence processes, negotiating transactions, and supporting post-merger value creation initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, financial expertise, operational understanding, and stakeholder management capabilities. Key Responsibilities Deal Origination & Pipeline Development Develop and execute sector-specific investment strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives. Identify and build relationships with target companies, entrepreneurs, investment banks, advisors, and industry stakeholders. Generate proprietary deal flow within energy transition, industrial technologies, automation, process industries, advanced materials, and manufacturing sectors. Evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and strategic investment themes. Investment Assessment & Due Diligence Lead comprehensive financial, commercial, operational, technical, and ESG due diligence processes. Build and review complex financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases. Assess strategic fit, synergy potential, market positioning, and risk factors. Coordinate external advisors, consultants, legal counsel, and technical experts throughout transaction processes. Transaction Execution Structure and negotiate acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, and divestitures. Lead management presentations, investment committee materials, and board approval processes. Manage deal execution from LOI through signing and closing. Support financing discussions with banks, lenders, and investors where applicable. Portfolio Management & Value Creation Partner with management teams to develop and execute post-acquisition integration plans. Monitor portfolio company performance against investment theses and value creation plans. Identify operational improvement, growth, and cost optimization opportunities. Support strategic initiatives, bolt-on acquisitions, and portfolio optimization activities. Industry & Market Intelligence Maintain deep knowledge of developments in: Energy Transition & Renewables, Power Generation & Grid Infrastructure, Electrification & Industrial Automation, Advanced Manufacturing, Process Industries, Industrial Equipment & Components, Specialty Engineering & Technology;
