OMS Project Manager

OMS Project Manager (Order Management System) Location: Shanghai, China Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven OMS Project Manager to lead the implementation, enhancement, and operational excellence of our Order Management System (OMS) landscape. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end OMS-related projects, driving system integrations across e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, logistics providers, and marketplace partners, while ensuring seamless order fulfillment and customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities, solid knowledge of e-commerce and supply chain processes, and hands-on experience with OMS platforms and system integrations. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Delivery • Lead end-to-end OMS implementation and enhancement projects from requirements gathering to deployment and post-go-live support. • Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies. • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners. • Manage project scope, budget, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management • Partner closely with e-commerce, supply chain, customer service, logistics, and finance teams to understand business needs. • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. • Facilitate workshops and discussions to drive solution design and decision-making. • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. OMS & System Integration • Drive integrations between OMS, ERP (SAP preferred), WMS, TMS, CRM, payment gateways, and e-commerce platforms. • Support API, middleware, and data integration initiatives. • Ensure order lifecycle processes are optimized across order capture, inventory allocation, fulfillment, shipment, and returns. • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot integration and operational issues. Operational Excellence • Monitor OMS performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. • Establish governance, documentation, SOPs, and release management processes. • Ensure business continuity, scalability, and system reliability. • Support transition from project implementation to steady-state operations. Compliance & Security • Ensure compliance with company IT governance, security standards, and data privacy regulations. • Support audit activities and maintain up-to-date system documentation. • Drive adherence to change management and release management processes. Qualifications Education • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Master's degree is a plus. Experience • 5+ years of project management experience in IT, Digital Commerce, Supply Chain, or Logistics environments. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with OMS platforms and e-commerce ecosystems. • Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation or system integration projects. • Experience working with global and regional stakeholders in a matrix organization. Technical Skills • Strong understanding of OMS architecture and order lifecycle processes. • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. • Knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C), inventory management, fulfillment, and logistics operations. • Familiarity with API integrations, middleware solutions, and cloud-based applications. • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
