Position Summary
The Procurement Coordinator supports daily purchasing operations, supplier communication, order management, and documentation control. This role ensures timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and strong supplier relationships. The position works closely with internal teams such as Planning, Operations, Finance, and Logistics to support smooth supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchase Order Management
Create, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system
Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery
Resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantity, or delivery
2. Supplier Coordination
Serve as the primary contact for routine supplier communication
Request quotations, confirm lead times, and support supplier onboarding
Maintain supplier records and update relevant documentation
3. Procurement Operations Support
Assist in sourcing activities, including RFQ preparation and cost comparison
Support contract and agreement administration
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and specifications
4. Data & Documentation Management
Maintain accurate procurement data, including pricing, delivery terms, and supplier information
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements
Prepare reports on PO status, delivery performance, and cost tracking
5. Logistics & Delivery Coordination
Work with logistics teams to arrange shipments, customs documents, and delivery schedules
Support receiving and invoice reconciliation processes
Address delivery issues, shortages, or quality concerns
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields preferred
Experience
1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative support
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or FMCG industries is a plus
Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Good communication and supplier‑management skills
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office
Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain operations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
