This role will be responsible for developing and executing global procurement strategies, supporting EPC/capital investment projects, driving supplier performance and cost optimization, and leading a high-performing procurement team. The successful candidate will possess strong technical acumen, extensive stakeholder management experience, and a proven track record of managing complex sourcing projects within industrial, engineering, manufacturing, chemical, mining, energy or EPC environments. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for: Capital Equipment (CAPEX) MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) Engineering Services Industrial Equipment and Systems Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation and supplier performance management globally. Drive cost reduction, value engineering and supply risk mitigation initiatives. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key global suppliers. EPC & Capital Project Procurement Support large-scale EPC/EPCM and capital investment projects from project planning through execution. Develop procurement plans and sourcing strategies for major equipment packages and engineering services. Lead commercial negotiations and ensure project procurement milestones are achieved. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, Operations and Finance teams. Stakeholder Management Act as a trusted procurement business partner to senior stakeholders across multiple functions and regions. Influence business decisions through data-driven sourcing strategies and market intelligence. Balance business requirements, technical needs and commercial objectives across diverse stakeholder groups. Drive alignment between global, regional and local teams. Supplier & Risk Management Drive supplier development, localization and supplier innovation initiatives. Monitor supplier performance in cost, quality, delivery, sustainability and compliance. Establish contingency plans and improve supply chain resilience. Team Leadership Lead, coach and develop a team of procurement professionals. Build procurement capabilities, succession pipelines and category expertise. Establish high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree or above in: Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering Supply Chain or other relevant technical disciplines Experience 10+ years of procurement and sourcing experience. Strong experience in: EPC/EPCM procurement Industrial equipment sourcing CAPEX procurement MRO procurement Global strategic sourcing Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams. Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations. Experience managing significant annual spend and global supplier networks.
