Production Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure products are delivered on schedule while meeting quality and cost targets. Prepare production capacity and workforce plans to support accelerated business growth and evolving customer demand. Secure production readiness and execution for NPI projects, enabling a seamless handover to volume production. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management and Maintenance teams to remove production bottlenecks and fulfill customer commitments. Enhance throughput, cycle time, labor productivity and equipment utilization through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Champion automation, digitalization and smart manufacturing initiatives to improve operational efficiency and manufacturing competitiveness. Maintain compliance with EHS, quality, customer-specific and regulatory standards. Implement visual management and fact-based decision-making by leveraging ERP, MES and production performance data. Build a high-performing production culture through coaching, training, succession planning and talent development. Deliver sustainable improvement in OTD, FPY, OEE, productivity, scrap reduction and customer satisfaction. ROLE SCOPE: Accountable for overall production execution across the manufacturing organization, including direct labor employees, production supervisors, technicians, maintenance support and production engineering resources. The position owns safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, workforce capability, daily performance, NPI readiness, ramp-up execution and continuous improvement within the assigned production areas. EDUCATION BACKGROUND: REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. PREFERRED: Master’s degree, MBA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP or other operational excellence certification is preferred. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: At least 10 years of manufacturing experience, including a minimum of 5 years in production leadership positions. PREFERRED: Background in Busbar, EV, automotive components, power distribution, data center, AI infrastructure, sheet metal, stamping, welding, assembly, automation or comparable manufacturing sectors. Prior experience as a Production Manager, Lean Manufacturing Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager or other operations leadership role is preferred. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: REQUIRED: Solid production and operations management expertise Strong leadership and people development capability Practical problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective cross-functional communication and stakeholder management Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma and Operational Excellence methodologies Experience with ERP/MES platforms and production data analytics Customer-oriented mindset with strong delivery and results focus Good English communication ability PREFERRED: Experience with high-mix, low-volume production models, automotive components or adjacent industries. Proven exposure to NPI, production ramp-up, automation, digital manufacturing and management of sizeable manufacturing teams is preferred. OTHER: Demonstrates strong ownership, integrity, safety awareness and compliance discipline. Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, support business expansion and ramp-up requirements, and comply with company ethics, EHS, quality and customer requirements.
