1. Technical Leadership & Strategy Define and execute the company’s technology roadmap and long‑term R&D strategy Lead architecture decisions, ensure technical excellence, and guide major system designs Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation across the engineering organization Ensure systems meet high standards of scalability, security, and performance 2. Team Leadership & Management Build, mentor, and manage cross‑functional engineering teams (backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, architecture) Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement Support career development and succession planning for engineering leaders 3. Project & Delivery Management Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of complex technical projects Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Business teams to align priorities and timelines Ensure predictable delivery through effective planning, resource allocation, and risk management Optimize development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes 4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Product leadership to shape product strategy and roadmap Work with executive leadership to translate business goals into technical initiatives Communicate technical decisions and trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders 5. Operational Excellence Establish KPIs for engineering performance, quality, and velocity Ensure robust monitoring, incident response, and system reliability practices Drive cost optimization and efficiency across infrastructure and engineering operations
