Sea Freight logistic operation Leader

` Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily sea freight operations, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and cargo handling Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and logistics partners Monitor carrier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) Collaborate with sales, procurement, and supply chain teams to support customer requirements and business growth Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, maritime safety standards, and company policies Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction Manage and develop the sea freight operations team, providing training and performance management Prepare reports and present operational KPIs to senior management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field 5–8 years of experience in sea freight or international logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of sea freight operations, carrier networks, and global trade regulations Proven negotiation and contract management skills with shipping lines and logistics providers Experience with freight management systems and digital tools (ERP, TMS, etc.) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
