Senior Mechanical Designer

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Act as a designer for dedicated projects. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES ● Design work and quality based on design guidelines and manager’s and team leader’s guidance ● Design schedules (general responsibility of commonly agreed schedule and regular reporting to team leader and other relevant persons) ● Cooperation with staff in hydraulic and electric design as well as strength analysts ● Checking of drawings for both the team colleague and design partner ● Responsibility to deliver latest drawings to all relevant team members as needed (CM, QC, PR, etc.) ● Producing of technical material according to Design Guidance ● supporting tendering for rework & guarantee matters concerning design ● Produce not only HC but also LC(including FF/offset plans, cell guide, deck stanchion and lashing bridge Other tasks agreed on separately ● Participate product development projects when agreed POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education: ● B. Sc. or M. Sc. of Engineering Experience: ● Work on Marine or ship building for more than 5 years Competencies: ● Good communication skills ● Technical approach
