Sr. Test Engineer

The Senior Test Engineer ensures the reliability, functionality, and performance of all new technologies integrated into the company’s digital signage hardware systems. This role is responsible for identifying potential risks or impacts of changes, designing and executing comprehensive testing protocols, and providing actionable insights to mitigate issues before deployment. By collaborating with engineering, product management, and other cross-functional teams, the Senior Test Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and robustness of the company’s hardware solutions, ensuring seamless integration and delivering value to customers Testing Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive testing plans and protocols for new technologies, ensuring thorough validation of performance, functionality, and reliability. Risk Identification and Mitigation: Assess potential risks and impacts of technology changes on existing systems, developing strategies to address identified issues proactively. Execution of Test Cases: Conduct detailed testing, including functional, integration, performance, and stress testing, to validate new hardware and system updates. Defect Analysis and Resolution: Identify, document, and communicate defects or inconsistencies, working closely with engineering and product teams to resolve issues effectively. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with design, engineering, and product management teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear and detailed records of testing processes, outcomes, and recommendations, providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of testing methodologies and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall quality assurance process.
