Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
Supervise and guide the procurement team in daily purchasing activities.
Ensure timely sourcing of raw materials, components, and services to support production and business needs.
Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Supplier Management
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Control
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Identify risks in the supply base and implement mitigation strategies.
Cost & Quality Optimization
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Collaborate with quality and production teams to ensure supplier performance meets standards.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Prepare procurement reports, KPIs, and cost analysis for management.
Drive process improvements in procurement systems and workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
