Job Description
Work closely with sales, project management, and engineering leadership to develop project plans, estimates, and proposals.
Lead test system projects, such as those for FCT/PCBA and End of Line, throughout all phases of the development process, from requirements definition to mass production.
Update and maintain project plans and documentation.
Lead regular project status meetings with relevant external and internal stakeholders
Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles to the success of each project.
Support the transfer and bring-up of manufacturing test equipment from one global factory location to another.
Oversee and closely collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and factory teams to ensure test systems are delivered on-time and that all deliverables are provided according to the project plan.
Ensure projects follow Product Development Process, meeting all deliverables.
Help define Test System strategy in order to provide a best-in-class customer experience. Seek out and lead process improvements.
Review billable time to monitor project progress and budget and create billing reports to support invoicing of customers.
Travel locally and internationally to suppliers and production factories in service of project objectives as required.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Discipline
Excellent communication skills with ability to speak and write in Mandarin and English. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in product or test systems development, with experience introducing new products into Mass Production
Capable of managing workload and organizing information for multiple Test Systems projects concurrently
Has a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally (primarily US and Mexico).
