Role Summary
The Assistant Brand Manager supports the development and execution of brand and trade marketing strategies for the snack portfolio. This role is heavily focused on POSM creation, in‑store activation, and trade marketing execution to drive visibility, conversion, and market share across modern trade, convenience, and impulse channels.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Marketing Execution — Plan and implement trade marketing programs across MT, GT, and impulse channels to strengthen brand presence and drive sell‑out.
POSM Development — Lead the design, production, and deployment of POS materials (shelf talkers, wobblers, standees, gondola ends, counter displays, etc.) ensuring brand consistency and shopper impact.
In‑Store Activation — Coordinate promotional activities, sampling programs, and seasonal campaigns with sales teams and external agencies.
Brand Campaign Support — Assist in adapting ATL/BTL campaigns into trade‑ready toolkits and channel‑specific executions.
Sales Collaboration — Work closely with Key Account Managers and field sales teams to understand channel needs and tailor POSM solutions.
Performance Tracking — Monitor POSM deployment, campaign ROI, and competitor activities; provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
Budget Management — Support planning and tracking of trade marketing and POSM production budgets.
Agency Management — Brief, manage, and evaluate creative, production, and activation agencies to ensure timely and high‑quality output.
Market & Shopper Insights — Gather and analyze shopper behavior, category trends, and competitor POSM strategies to inform brand plans.
Requirements
Marketing Background — Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Trade Marketing Experience — 1–3 years of experience in FMCG, ideally in snacks, beverages, or impulse categories.
POSM Knowledge — Strong understanding of POSM production, materials, timelines, and cost management.
Project Management — Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines.
Analytical Skills — Comfortable with data, reporting, and deriving insights.
Communication Skills — Strong coordination and presentation skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
Creativity & Detail Orientation — Ability to translate brand strategy into impactful in‑store executions.
