About the job
The role focuses on providing mineral processing expertise to support global clients and partners, addressing technical challenges, and driving project development. Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting domestic and international clients through technical solutions, collaborating across departments (e.g., geology, mine planning, marketing, operations) to integrate demands with actionable strategies.
• Contributing to international projects (e.g., Megahubs, Sohar, concentration plants in China/Malaysia) by optimizing iron ore beneficiation processes, maximizing metallurgical recovery, and minimizing environmental impact.
• Participating in due diligence for mergers/acquisitions, R&D initiative prioritization, and technical evaluations for third-party ore utilization (Origination program).
• Operating in a multicultural, multi-time-zone environment to align mineral processing strategies with global market needs and the company’s sustainability goals.

What you must have
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering; Master’s or Ph.D. in related fields (e.g., mining, metallurgy) is preferred.
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in multinational mining companies or consulting firms, with expertise in iron ore beneficiation, mineral characterization, and project development. Familiarity with due diligence processes and innovation initiatives is required.
• Skills: Fluent in English (mandatory). Strong capabilities in technical analysis, cross-departmental collaboration, and problem-solving in a global, multidisciplinary setting. Experience with mineral processing software (e.g., Usimpac, Metsim) is preferred.
• Attributes: Adaptability to diverse cultures and time zones, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric mindset with a focus on sustainable development.
