Job Overview
This role is responsible for leading the development of equipment strategies and operational management related to advanced equipment solutions. The Senior Equipment Manager will collaborate closely with global and regional teams to drive equipment innovation, localization, and customer satisfaction improvement through customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. ND Equipment Localization: Oversee the localization process of ND equipment, ensuring it meets regional market demands and reduces costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
2. New Equipment Design: Design and develop new types of adhesive coating and sealing equipment, focusing on innovation and alignment with customer needs to support ND business growth.
3. Total Solution Design: Create comprehensive solutions for the mobility, digital electronics (DA), and clean energy sectors to enhance customer value and drive business expansion.
4. Spare Parts & Equipment Sales: Manage the sales of spare parts and equipment to customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.
5. After-Sales Service: Provide after-sales support to existing customers, including equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
6. Application Lab Support: Assist various business units in setting up application labs, including equipment selection, maintenance, and other technical support.
7. Secure sufficient funding support for future business development or expansion.
8. Clearly identify the skills and value one can bring to the business.
9. Conduct situational analysis (including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) for the responsible functional areas to support the formulation of future business strategic plans.
10. Collaborate with R&D and technical service teams to provide regular services and troubleshooting; lead the team to explore product value and deliver total solutions to customers.
11. Complete other required work tasks.
Budget/Financial Responsibilities
Manage the budget for equipment development and maintenance to support the achievement of business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related fields; MBA is preferred.
2. At least 5-10 years of work experience in mechanical equipment design, manufacturing, or related industries.
3. Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Value-added sales mindset and relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience in mechanical equipment quotation or sales.
2. Familiarity with the adhesive equipment industry and pre-coated film industry is preferred.
3. Proven team management experience.
