Job Description
Purpose of Function
The role is responsible for leading and managing the recruitment team of the company in the Greater China region. This role develops and executes the full recruitment lifecycle to meet business demands, attracting and selecting top-tier candidates through effective recruitment strategies. Working in close collaboration with hiring managers, the role supports company growth by aligning talent acquisition with regional business objectives.
Key Responsibility
Full-Cycle Recruitment Execution:
Develop recruitment strategies and plans in the Greater China region, including selection of recruitment channels and design of the recruitment process.
Manage the complete recruitment process for assigned roles within the Greater China Medical Devices and Safety Equipment business lines, including:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business needs and job requirements, supporting the development of comprehensive recruitment plans.
Draft and refine compelling job descriptions to accurately communicate the role and attract qualified candidates.
Utilize a variety of sourcing methods and channels to identify and engage potential candidates, including job boards and employee referrals.
Conduct thorough resume screenings and initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, providing comprehensive support throughout the interview process and guiding communication with the interview team to align on objectives, provide constructive feedback, and ensure compliant decision-making.
Manage candidate communication, providing timely updates and a positive candidate experience.
Facilitate offer negotiations and onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Proactive Sourcing and Talent Pooling:
Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through a variety of recruitment channels.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
Actively engage with potential candidates in the Medical and Safety business lines through industry events, online forums, and direct outreach.
Data-Driven Recruitment Optimization & Reporting:
Analyze recruitment data (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, etc.) to identify trends and insights for process improvement.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment metrics dashboards, providing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide regular and insightful reports to HR team on recruitment performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Collaboration, Partnership & Mentorship:
∙ Provide support to hiring managers and HR teams throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
∙ Collaborate with various HR teams to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process, supporting a positive candidate experience.
Compliance & Governance:
∙ Ensure all recruitment activities comply with local labor laws and company policies.
∙ Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the TA Database.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment efforts, ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process.
Position requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in human resources management or a related field;
A minimum of 10 years of experience in recruitment work, with expertise in talent markets and recruitment processes;
Strong interpersonal skills, organizational and coordination abilities, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities;
Strong team management experience to motivate team members to perform at their best;
Strong data analysis skills to identify problems from data and make recommendations for improvement.
Proactive, strong sense of responsibility, solid work, and good ability to withstand pressure.
