Role Overview
The Trade Compliance Manager drives global import/export strategy, ensuring regulatory adherence for biological materials and medical devices. The role focuses on developing internal controls (ICP), mitigating tariff risks, and streamlining logistics for complex, high-stakes supply chains.
Program & Compliance: Develop ICPs, policies, and SOPs; conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with global regulations.
Classification & Licensing: Oversee HTS/ECCN classification, secure Dual-Use licenses, and manage health quarantine/HGRAC approvals.
Export Controls: Ensure compliance with U.S. EAR/ITAR and EU regulations; conduct Restricted Party Screenings (RPS).
Logistics Support: Coordinate with R&D and Logistics for customs clearance of cold-chain, clinical trial supplies.
External Liaison: Act as primary contact for customs, FDA, NMPA, and other regulatory agencies.
