Facility Manager(校园设施经理)
Position Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the school campus and its facilities. The role ensures that all buildings, infrastructure, equipment, and support services are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, secure, and effective learning environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
The position works closely with school leadership, external contractors, and service providers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Campus Facilities Management
Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of all campus facilities, including classrooms, offices, laboratories, libraries, sports facilities, dormitories, and common areas.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Monitor building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, water supply, and access control systems.
Ensure all facilities remain operational, functional, and aesthetically maintained.
Project & Capital Improvement Management
Lead campus renovation, expansion, and infrastructure improvement projects.
Manage project budgets, timelines, contractors, and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, and vendors during design and construction phases.
Support long-term campus development planning.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local regulations, education sector requirements, and international safety standards.
Manage campus emergency preparedness and response plans.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
Oversee fire safety systems, evacuation drills, security procedures, and environmental health programs.
Maintain documentation related to safety, inspections, and statutory compliance.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Manage outsourced service providers, including:
Security
Cleaning
Catering support
Landscaping
Pest control
Engineering maintenance services
Establish service level agreements (SLAs) and monitor vendor performance.
Conduct supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance reviews.
Budget & Cost Management
Prepare and manage annual facilities budgets.
Monitor operational expenditure and capital expenditure.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and energy efficiency improvements.
Ensure procurement processes follow school policies and governance requirements.
Sustainability & Environmental Management
Promote sustainable facility management practices.
Implement energy-saving initiatives and environmental programs.
Monitor utility consumption and recommend improvements to reduce operating costs.
Support ESG and sustainability objectives where applicable.
Team Leadership
Lead and develop the facilities and engineering team.
Establish performance standards and KPIs.
Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities.
Promote a service-oriented culture supporting the school community.
Stakeholder Communication
Work closely with school leadership, academic departments, parents, and community stakeholders regarding facility-related matters.
Communicate maintenance schedules, project updates, and operational issues effectively.
Support school events and activities requiring facilities coordination.
