Job Description: General Manager
1. Basic Job Information
• Job Title: General Manager
• Location: Taipei, Taiwan, China
• Reporting To: APAC President (based in Singapore)
• Company Profile: A European-owned enterprise specialized in industrial equipment and condensation & heat exchange solutions
• Team Size: Manages a full-functional team of 30-40 members (covering sales, marketing, finance, technology, logistics, etc.)
• Business Scale: Responsible for the annual business revenue of nearly NT$200 million in the B2B industrial sector
• Preferred Candidates: Taiwanese candidates are preferred; foreign nationals holding non-Chinese passports and eligible for long-term work in Taiwan are also considered
2. Core Job Responsibilities
1. Undertake the strategic deployment of the APAC region, formulate the company’s medium and long-term development plans, focus on the four core industries of food, medical care, biopharmaceuticals and automotive tires, and take full responsibility for key operating indicators such as revenue, profit and market share.
2. Oversee the full-chain operation and management of sales, marketing, finance, technology, logistics and other departments, optimize the inter-departmental collaboration mechanism, and ensure the market delivery and service quality of condensation & heat exchange and pump & valve equipment.
3. Develop in-depth cooperation with high-value clients in the target industries, lead the negotiation and implementation of high-value projects, and promote the market penetration and brand influence of the company's solutions in vertical fields.
4. Build and manage a full-functional team of 30-40 members, improve the talent recruitment, training, incentive and retention system, and build a high-performance team that adapts to the management culture of European enterprises.
5. Coordinate with the APAC headquarters in Singapore, regularly report the business progress and strategic implementation status, and ensure the compliance of company operations and consistency with the group's strategy.
3. Job Qualifications
1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above from renowned universities at home and abroad, majoring in mechanical engineering, thermal energy and power engineering, industrial management or related fields is preferred.
2. Industry Experience: Over 10 years of working experience in the industrial machinery and equipment field, with more than 5 years of experience in R&D, sales or operation management of pumps, valves, heat exchangers, condensers and other products; experience in serving clients in food, medical care, biopharmaceuticals and automotive tire industries is preferred.
3. Management Capability: Proven track record as the first-in-charge, with practical experience in leading a 30-40 member full-functional team, and proficient in inter-departmental collaboration and organizational structure optimization.
4. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, capable of independently conducting business meetings, report writing and email communication with the APAC headquarters.
5. Comprehensive Competencies: Possess keen industry trend judgment and strategic decision-making ability, strong stress resistance and result-oriented mindset; familiar with the management culture of European enterprises, with excellent leadership and cross-cultural communication skills.
