Technical Application Consultant - AutoChem
Responsibilities
•
Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support.
•
Conduct technical discussions and feasibility experiments for product applications during the pre‑sales stage.
•
Deliver basic and advanced product and application training to new and existing users, and provide technical support through multiple channels.
•
Maintain customer relationships, improve product usage rates, identify successful cases, and promote best practices.
•
Drive market development activities.
•
Master the technical and application knowledge of responsible products and regularly communicate and align with overseas colleagues.
•
Combine technical insights with business needs to deliver compelling value propositions for customers.
•
Conduct regular competitor benchmarking and analysis, and develop targeted strategies accordingly.
•
Support new product launches and promotional activities.
•
Track market trends, analyze customer needs, and develop key industry segments and solutions based on departmental product strengths.
•
Collaborate closely with marketing colleagues to develop key applications for targeted sub‑industries.
•
Support sales projects with technical communication and solution development.
•
Develop technical promotion plans and tools for target markets, and prepare and organize technical documentation.
•
Support marketing events, including exhibitions, industry conferences, customer seminars, and online webinars, and deliver presentations at these events.
•
Participate in third‑party exhibitions and forums to enhance the visibility and influence of departmental products and solutions.
•
Provide additional support as needed, including regular training for sales colleagues on new products and applications.
•
Manage and allocate departmental demo equipment resources.
Qualifications
Education
•
Master’s degree or above in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or related fields.
Work Experience
•
More than 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology, or related industries.
•
Experience in laboratory R&D or niche market development is preferred.
Professional Skills
•
Familiar with crystallization, process development, or organic synthesis; understanding of R&D and production workflows in the pharmaceutical or fine chemical industries.
•
Able to travel frequently (over 50% of the time).
•
Strong written and spoken English skills.
•
Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational abilities.
•
Strong team spirit and collaboration mindset.
