Country General Manager

JD: Country Manager (Chemical & Petrochemical Trading) Company Profile A Middle East-based chemical and petrochemical trading enterprise focusing on China raw material procurement and global export business. Role Overview Work location: Shanghai; lead a 5–6 local staff team and report directly to overseas senior management. Female candidates are preferred. Key Responsibilities 1. Develop domestic suppliers for petrochemical, coating and construction chemicals, conduct contract negotiation, cost & quality control; manage full export procedures, LC and logistics for shipments to Europe, Africa and South America. 2. Set team KPIs, arrange daily work, implement performance review and internal training to improve team efficiency. 3. Track domestic chemical market trend and price fluctuation, expand supplier pool and submit regular operation reports to headquarters. 4. Strictly follow China customs, foreign trade and tax compliance requirements and keep smooth communication with Middle East head office. Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Chemistry, International Trade or Supply Chain are preferred; Female preferred. • Over 8 years working experience in chemical & petrochemical procurement and export with mature domestic supplier resources; familiar with foreign trade documents, LC and cross-border logistics. • 3+ years team management experience; fluent English for daily communication with Middle East management. • Strong negotiation, cost control and cross-cultural communication skills, able to work under business pressure.
