Fabric Sourcing and Development Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Fabric Sourcing & Development Specialist with a strong product eye and deep knowledge of mills and market trends. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and replicate fabrics seen in leading fashion retailers, influence product direction, and manage the full lifecycle of fabric development from sourcing to customer delivery. Key Responsibilities Fabric Sourcing & Development Source fabrics from key mills, including those supplying major fashion retailers. Coordinate and arrange proto yardage and salesman yardage. Follow up on lab dips and test reports to ensure quality standards. Develop seasonal fabric trend boards and recommend collections to designers/customers. Monitor and maintain the central Fabric Library records. Organize fabric rolls/remnants and manage stock inquiries. Customer & Team Collaboration Work directly with customers’ Fabric teams to align on requirements. Provide customer service, including distributor information and product launches. Assist in mass mailers and promotional activities. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external mills. Project Management Ensure timely delivery of fabric developments aligned with seasonal concepts. Manage multiple tasks under pressure, meeting deadlines with precision. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
