FP&A & Project Control Leader

The Leader of Finance Analysis & Project Control is a key leadership role within the China Commercial Finance organization, reporting to the China Commercial Controller. This role leads the centralized Finance Analysis & Project Control capability and is responsible for driving high-quality financial analysis, project controlling, profitability oversight, and performance transparency across commercial streams. The role is designed to strengthen finance controlling capabilities, improve standardization, and enhance decision support for the business. It partners closely with Finance Business Partners and commercial leaders to support full P&L performance management, with particular focus on orders, revenue, margin and profitability realization. The role also helps drive productivity improvement through digital enablement, scalable processes, and stronger analytical rigor. Principal Responsibilities • Lead and manage the pooled Finance Analyst resources to effectively support Stream Finance Controllers across the organization • Build and strengthen the overall project controlling capability of the Finance Analyst team • Establish and standardize finance operation processes, including project control mechanisms, reporting routines, and governance practices • Partner with Stream Finance Controllers and business stakeholders to provide financial analysis and project performance support • Drive consistency and quality in financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and controlling activities • Monitor project financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support corrective actions to improve margin and profitability • Develop team capability through coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing in finance analysis and project controlling • Improve resource planning and allocation across the pooled analyst team to ensure effective support and priority alignment • Promote continuous improvement, standardization, and efficiency in finance operation activities • Support stronger financial discipline, transparency, and process compliance across streams

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field • Solid experience in finance analysis, controlling, FP&A, or project controlling • Experience in leading teams or managing shared / pooled finance resources • Strong understanding of project controlling, financial governance, and finance operations processes • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills • Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and support a matrix organization • Strong communication and influencing skills • Experience in process standardization, continuous improvement, and capability building • Proficiency finance systems / reporting tools and AI tools
