About the Role We are looking for an experienced legal, compliance, internal control or investigation professional to join the China regional team. This role will focus on internal investigations, internal control, audit and process improvement, while working closely with business teams and regional stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Conduct and support internal investigations across the China region, including fact-finding, risk assessment and investigation reporting. - Support internal control and audit activities, identifying potential risks, control gaps and areas for improvement. - Work with business and functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and appropriate remediation plans. - Partner closely with business leaders to understand business operations and provide practical legal/compliance advice. - Support the implementation and enhancement of internal control and compliance policies and procedures. - Collaborate with regional and global teams on investigations, compliance matters and internal control projects. - Monitor and assess potential compliance risks and support follow-up actions. Requirements - 5–10 years of relevant experience, ideally with a combination of legal, investigation, compliance, internal control or audit experience. - Experience in internal investigations and/or compliance-related matters is highly preferred. - Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate business needs into practical risk and control solutions. - Experience working with regional or multinational organizations is preferred. - Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. - Fluent Mandarin and good English communication skills. Preferred Background Candidates with experience in both legal/investigation and internal control/audit would be particularly welcome. Industry background is flexible. Candidates from pharmaceutical/medical and banking/financial services backgrounds are not preferred.
