Master Data Manager

Key Responsibilities Master Data Governance — Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures across all master data domains. Data Quality Management — Monitor and improve data quality through validation rules, audits, cleansing initiatives, and root‑cause analysis. Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Partner with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure consistent data definitions and seamless data flows. Master Data Processes — Design, optimize, and document end‑to‑end master data creation, maintenance, and retirement processes. System & Tool Ownership — Oversee MDM platforms (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica, Oracle), ensuring configuration aligns with business needs. Data Stewardship Leadership — Lead and mentor data stewards, ensuring adherence to governance frameworks and operational excellence. Issue Resolution — Manage data‑related incidents, coordinate fixes, and implement preventive measures. Reporting & Insights — Provide regular reports on data quality KPIs, governance compliance, and improvement initiatives. Change Management — Drive adoption of new data standards, tools, and processes across the organization. Qualifications Education — Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, or related field. Experience — 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or related roles within a global or complex organization. Technical Skills Proficiency with MDM platforms (SAP MDG, Informatica MDM, Oracle MDM, etc.) Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data lifecycle management Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence without authority
