The Product Manager is responsible for the definition and execution of the safety product portfolio globally.
The candidate shall hold global end-to-end responsibilities for various product groups including turnover,
margin etc. The candidate will be tasked with product planning and execution throughout the product
lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
The person should define the product vision; collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing and support to
ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Provide technical product support and assist with product selection. This may include “proof of concept”
solutions or detailed application profiles.
• Close cooperation with the sales team, as well as Product Managers and R&D in Singapore/Malaysia
and HQ in Europe.
• Manage relationships with key partners/suppliers, in conjunction with sourcing colleagues for end to end
delivery of products along the supply chain.
• Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Ensure the product portfolio supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
• Specify market requirements for current and future products
• Establish and maintain product price lists and proper mix / level of inventory.
• Provide in-depth market analysis on competitive landscapes, trends and emerging technologies.
• Develop and provide training materials and collateral for distributors, representatives and customers.
• Development of new product launches and initiatives for the product group assigned.
• Ensure necessary literature and sales collateral is on hand or developed.
• Develop usage, and maintenance of product samples and demonstration equipment.
• Assist with web presence and enhancements.

PRE-REQUISITES:
• Knowledge of factory automation market and machinery safety is essential
• Knowledge of industrial safety norms and standards is advantageous
• Business savvy and proven ability to support the sales and business development organization is
necessary
• Experienced working in MNC set up, with good communication and is a proactive solution provider
• Able to link between business, technology and user experience and preferably familiar with the sensors
industry
• Self-start and independent individual with ability to make important decisions
• Effective team player through mutually supportive professional relationship
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and acceptability is essential
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor Degree in technical discipline or equivalent. Open to consider Diploma holders with strong
relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years of product management experience/sales/marketing/application engineering
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with people of all levels.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Creative problem solver, with good time management skills
• Knowledgeable in technology and experience in industrial sector.
