Rates Trader

1. Achieve financial targets within approved market risk and credit limits, focusing on the interest rate and derivatives markets. 2. Ensure accurate and timely booking of all trades and promptly resolve any discrepancies. 3. Continuously monitor trading positions and risk limits, ensuring full adherence to internal trading and risk guidelines. 4. Work closely with the sales team to enhance client interaction and revenue opportunities, and support team members in risk analysis and recommended actions. 5. Analyze market news, research, and upcoming events to develop trading strategy and share insights with the trading and sales teams. 6. Maintain strict compliance with market, operational, credit, and regulatory risk policies. 任职资格 1. Bachelor’s degree or above from a recognized University (Economics, Statistics or Finance background are preferred). 2. Strong interest and solid working experience on a trading desk in Global Markets/Treasury. Strong knowledge of Interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps and derivatives products, as well as proven dealing skills. 3. Ability to offer interest rate products to corporate and institutional clients and to manage the trading book with proper risk controls. 4. Client-oriented, solution-driven, hungry for success and team player with strong win-win mentality. 5. Strong coordination, learning ability and communication skills in both English and Chinese Business environments. 6. Proficient in MS-Office (Excel/PowerPoint), with demonstrated ability to perform advanced data analysis to support trading decisions and risk management processes. Programming skills (e.g., Python) would be considered an advantage.
