Sales Director / Senior Sales Team Leader (Bulk Petrochemicals)

• Reporting line: Report directly to China CEO
• Team size: Around 20 people
Business Scope
Responsible for full sales business development and market management of a full range of bulk petrochemical commodities covering upstream raw materials, intermediates and downstream products:
• Upstream basic materials: Crude Oil, Naphtha, LPG, Ethane, Propane, Fuel Oil, Bitumen
• Core olefins & aromatics: Ethylene, Propylene, Butadiene, Benzene, Toluene, Xylenes (PX/OX/MX)
• Key chemical intermediates: Methanol, Styrene, VCM
• Polyester chain products: PTA, MEG, PET
• Polymer & related products: General Plastic materials, Rubber products, Polyamide (Nylon) & Polyester Fibers
• Resins & polyurethane materials: Polymer Resins, Epoxy Resins, Phenolic Resins, Acrylic Resins, Polyols, TDI, MDI
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute national sales strategy, achieve annual business targets and drive sustainable growth for bulk petrochemical product lines.
2. Establish and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with key manufacturers, downstream processors and top trading clients across China.
3. Monitor market trend, price fluctuation, supply & demand changes and competitor dynamics, adjust commercial strategies timely.
4. Lead, coach and manage the entire sales team, take charge of performance management, KPI delivery, talent cultivation and team capability building.
5. Standardize sales operation processes, optimize customer portfolio and profit structure, and strengthen market penetration in key regions.
6. Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, finance and risk control teams to ensure smooth order execution, credit management and stable business operation.
Requirements
1. 20–30 years extensive working experience in petrochemical and bulk chemical industry, with proven track record in sales and trading of the aforementioned upstream raw materials, chemical intermediates, resins, plastics, rubber and other bulk products.
2. Background from well-known global petrochemical or leading bulk chemical companies is preferred.
3. Exceptional leadership and large team management capabilities.
4. Fluent professional English for C-level and high-end business communication.
5. In-depth industry insights, extensive nationwide client resources and keen commercial acumen.
6. Solid career stability, result-oriented mindset and comprehensive business management skills.
