. Hydraulic System Architecture & Design
Lead the end‑to‑end design of hydraulic systems and sub‑modules (pumps, valves, actuators, manifolds, cylinders, hoses, filtration, etc.).
Develop system architecture integrating hydraulics with electronic controls, sensors, and intelligent functions.
Conduct system modelling, simulation, and performance prediction using tools such as AMESim, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar.
Define system specifications, performance targets, and design standards.
2. Intelligent & Automated Hydraulic Functions
Drive the development of smart hydraulic features such as load‑sensing control, electro‑hydraulic actuation, energy‑saving strategies, and automated work cycles.
Collaborate with software and controls teams to integrate algorithms for machine automation, precision control, and operator‑assist functions.
Evaluate emerging technologies including digital hydraulics, electric‑hydraulic hybrids, and sensor‑based predictive control.
3. System Integration & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, and vehicle architecture teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Provide technical leadership in design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA, and system-level troubleshooting.
Support supplier selection, technical alignment, and component validation.
4. Testing, Validation & Continuous Improvement
Develop test plans for bench, rig, and vehicle-level validation.
Analyse test data, diagnose issues, and drive corrective actions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost optimisation.
Ensure compliance with global safety, emissions, and regulatory standards.
5. Project Leadership & Technical Mentoring
Serve as technical owner for hydraulic modules across the product lifecycle.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building organisational hydraulic expertise.
Support project planning, risk assessment, and milestone delivery.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
8+ years of experience in hydraulic system design for off‑highway machinery, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or heavy industrial equipment.
Strong expertise in hydraulic components, circuits, system dynamics, and failure analysis.
Hands‑on experience with electro‑hydraulic systems and integration with electronic controls.
Proficiency in simulation tools (AMESim, Simulink, or equivalent).
Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects from concept to production.
Fluent English communication, both spoken and written.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience with intelligent machine functions (automation, operator assist, autonomous features).
Knowledge of digital hydraulics, electric‑hydraulic hybrid systems, or advanced energy‑saving technologies.
Familiarity with CAN bus, ISO 13849 functional safety, and embedded control systems.
Experience working in global engineering environments or multinational OEMs.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, cost engineering, and supplier management.
