职位描述
· Regulatory Compliance & Management: Ensure all cross-border trade activities (import/export) comply with APAC regional regulations. Monitor and interpret new and changes to existing trade related laws and regulations and assess the impact to the business.
· Product Classification & Origin Management: Determine and maintain accurate Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes and manage country of origin determination and certification, critical for claiming benefits under Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) like RCEP.
· Duty Optimization & FTAs: Develop and execute strategies for duty savings, including optimizing free trade agreement utilization. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of FTA documentation (e.g., Certificates of Origin).
· Audit & Risk Mitigation: Serve as a primary point of contact for customs brokers and government agencies. Lead internal compliance audits and manage external customs inquiries, audits, and potential disputes. Identify and assess significant compliance risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
· Stakeholder Engagement & Training: Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Sourcing, Logistics, Legal, Finance) and external partners (customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers). Develop and deliver training programs to build compliance awareness across the organization.
职位要求
· Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field.
· 5-10 years of direct experience in trade compliance, with a significant focus on the apparel, footwear, or retail industry.
· In-depth knowledge of APAC trade regulations, including but not limited to: customs valuation, classification, origin rules, and import/export controls for apparel and textiles.
· Hands-on experience with HS code classification for apparel and textiles (e.g., understanding Section XI of the HS code).
