Role Overview
This role is responsible for managing international clients, including responding to client needs, developing and presenting logistics solutions, coordinating resources across nationwide distribution centers (DCs), and continuously improving service efficiency and customer satisfaction. The position also focuses on optimizing operational processes to reduce costs and deliver high-quality cold chain logistics support.
Key Responsibilities
Client Needs Response & Solution Management
• Understand client business models and requirements; lead the collection, analysis, and response to client needs.
• Develop and present feasible cold chain logistics solutions that meet client expectations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, coordinating cross-functional resources to resolve issues promptly.
Service Quality Monitoring & Review
• Translate client requirements into actionable tasks and assign them to relevant DCs nationwide; track execution progress.
• Coordinate warehousing, transportation, and manpower resources across the country to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Promote resource sharing and collaboration among DCs to enhance overall network efficiency.
Efficiency Improvement & Cost Optimization
• Regularly analyze operational data from all warehouses to identify process improvements and boost efficiency.
• Continuously optimize the logistics network based on client and market demands to reduce operational costs.
• Benchmark against industry best practices and proactively propose enhancements to build a high-efficiency, low-cost service model.
Client Relationship Management & Collaboration
• Conduct regular visits to key clients to build long-term, stable partnerships.
• Gather client feedback and suggestions to drive timely internal improvements.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and trust throughout the collaboration.
Cost Accounting & Reconciliation
• Perform regular cost accounting and assist clients with cost optimization analysis.
• Liaise with client finance departments to verify service charges and ensure accurate billing.
Exception Handling
• Lead emergency responses to service disruptions such as transport delays, delivery losses, or inventory shortages.
• Develop and implement risk contingency plans to minimize business impact.
• Document and summarize exception handling cases to build an internal knowledge base.
Contract Execution & Oversight
• Monitor the execution of client contracts to ensure all service terms are properly fulfilled.
• Support senior management in contract renewals, amendments, and negotiations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above from a full-time program; graduates from prestigious universities or with strong academic backgrounds are preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in client or operations management, with at least 5 years serving major accounts directly.
• Familiarity with cold chain logistics or supply chain management; experience in coordinating nationwide warehousing or transportation resources is a plus.
• Proven success in serving well-known enterprise clients (e.g., FMCG, food service, retail sectors) is highly desirable.
• Excellent English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) for cross-border client and partner engagement.
• Willingness to travel; adaptable and flexible in dynamic environments
