Position Title: Country General Manager, China
Location: Shanghai
Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Division President
Company Profile: European metal powder materials manufacturing enterprise, with a China team of approximately 100 employees.
Core Responsibilities
1. Formulate and execute China market business strategies in alignment with global division objectives, overseeing the full spectrum of China business development and operational management.
2. Lead end-to-end local operations, covering production management, supply chain optimization, quality assurance, EHS compliance and cost efficiency, ensuring stable and high-performance business operation.
3. Provide robust leadership to build, develop and motivate a high-performing local management team, foster a positive corporate culture, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
4. Own full accountability for China business P&L, revenue and profit target achievement, market share expansion, and core client & strategic partner relationship management.
5. Maintain regular and transparent communication with the Division President, coordinate global cross-regional resources, and ensure alignment between local business and global corporate strategies.
6. Ensure full compliance with Chinese local laws, regulations and industrial standards, mitigate operational risks, and safeguard the company’s brand reputation and sustainable development.
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Materials Science, Engineering, Business Administration or relevant disciplines.
2. Proven strong operational leadership and comprehensive general management capabilities, with management experience in material manufacturing or related industrial sectors is highly preferred.
3. Excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin, capable of effective collaboration with global headquarters teams.
4. Outstanding strategic planning, decision-making and execution capabilities, with a track record of driving business growth and team performance.
5. Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and excellent cross-departmental coordination and resource integration skills.
