Job Description: Global Chief Human Resources Officer (CHO)

Position Overview:
The Global Chief Human Resources Officer (CHO) serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive people strategy that supports the company’s global manufacturing footprint. This role oversees all aspects of human capital management across multiple regions, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent while fostering a high‑performance, safety‑driven, and inclusive culture.
The CHO will lead a global HR organization, drive workforce transformation, and ensure alignment between people strategy and long‑term business objectives in a complex, fast‑moving industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute a global HR strategy aligned with the company’s manufacturing, operational excellence, and growth objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on organizational design, leadership development, and workforce planning.
Lead global initiatives related to culture, employee engagement, and organizational transformation.
Talent & Leadership Development
Build a robust global talent pipeline for critical roles across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and corporate functions.
Oversee leadership development programs to strengthen managerial capability and succession readiness.
Champion a performance‑driven culture with clear metrics, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Global Workforce Management
Develop workforce strategies that support multi‑site manufacturing operations, including labor planning, skills development, and productivity optimization.
Ensure consistent HR policies and frameworks across regions while respecting local labor regulations and cultural nuances.
Employee Relations & Compliance
Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across all operating regions.
Oversee global employee relations, collective bargaining strategies, and union negotiations where applicable.
Promote a safe, ethical, and respectful workplace aligned with the company’s values.
Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations
Design competitive global compensation and benefits frameworks that attract and retain top talent.
Drive digital HR transformation, including HRIS optimization, data analytics, and automation of HR processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including global responsibility in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven success partnering with executive leadership and influencing at the board level.
Deep expertise in labor relations, workforce planning, and multi‑country HR operations.
Experience leading HR transformation, digitalization, and organizational change.
Strong understanding of global employment laws, compliance frameworks, and safety‑critical environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams across multiple geographies.
