About The Role:
The Plant Manager will oversee full production operations, ensuring efficient, high‑quality production through strong technical and operational leadership. The role requires clear, structured, and culturally aware communication with the HQ. Managing a team with many long‑tenured employees, the leader must balance KPI delivery with people care, maintain stability, and strengthen organizational competitiveness with empathy and credibility.
The ideal candidate brings a growth mindset, strong learning agility, a service‑oriented approach toward both HQ and frontline teams, and resilience under pressure. A food industry background is preferred, though experience in personal care, pharmaceutical, chemical, or other regulated, hygiene‑focused sectors is also suitable.
Responsibility:
1. Oversee and supervise the Production, Packaging, and TFC departments
Based on the company's annual objectives, allocate and organize resources to meet the targets.
Take responsibility for reviewing and approving production and packaging schedules.
Lead the weekly SPS meetings and plant operations discussions.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of the MIS reports.
Approve all instructions related to production and packaging activities and ensure strict adherence to them.
2. Set goals and track execution
Establish operational goals and communicate them clearly to subordinates.
Monitor progress on action plans and implement corrective measures when necessary
3. Ensure full implementation of the quality system and support the HACCP leader in maintaining effective HACCP, GMP, and IFS operations within the plant
Ensure that production processes and product quality fully comply with GMP standards and internal quality requirements.
Oversee the organization and maintenance of all quality‑related documentation.
Review and verify all process records for GMP‑regulated products.
Plan, supervise, and track plant sanitation and cleaning activities.
Ensure products are manufactured and stored according to approved documentation to meet required quality levels.
Ensure production records are reviewed and signed by authorized personnel.
Serve as a member of the HACCP team to support HACCP plan execution; participate in crisis management activities as part of the crisis response team.
Ensure that all required validation activities are properly completed.
4. Manage and control cost and budget
Responsible for reviewing and auditing departmental budgets.
Approve all related purchase orders and contracts.
5. Oversee and improve employees’ work performance, provide guidance and support, and coordinate training activities
Plan and deliver training programs for all plant employees.
Take responsibility for organizing team‑building initiatives and related activities.
Establish, monitor, and review the KPI system, and drive continuous improvement and kaizen efforts.
Carry out additional tasks assigned by the superior.
Reqiurement:
1.Hard skills
Demonstrated leadership with strong abilities in strategic planning, organizational management, technical innovation, effective communication, collaboration, advanced problem‑solving, and employee coaching.
Proficient in Mandarin and English across spoken, written, and reading skills.
Possesses more than ten years of experience overseeing production or factory operations within the consumer goods, chemical, or pharmaceutical sectors.
Knowledge of food quality systems and Lean/CI/TPM is essential.
